This is a joint program offered by two prestigious organizations, Boswin and Varsity Hockey, the GTA’s best training center for hockey players of all ages.
The program is structured as follows:
Half-day Primary Robotics
- The program is specifically designed for the young students from 6 to 9 years old.
- Major building equipment: Lego WeDo2.0
- Hands-on experience
- Less talk and more hands-on to motivate students’ interests and inspiration
- More variety of models to build
- Learn basic programming
- More learning fun by making the Lego model work
Note:
- This program requires students to bring in Ipad/tablet or Laptop
- 0 app. needs to be installed on Ipad/tablet or laptop
Half-day Hockey
- Each day students will be on the ice 1.5 hours and will have a 1 hour
recreational session. - The focus of the on-ice program is on individual skill development. students will work on Power Skating, Edges, tight turns and crossovers, backward and forward skating, pivots and transitions. Puck skills will include shooting, stick-handling and deking, speed with the puck, and passing.
- The off-ice program each day will include either a Dry Land Training Activity or a Recreational activity. Recreational Activities may include dodge ball, soccer and much more.
Instructors & Coaches
All Boswin instructors are not only the specialists in each area they teach, but also they are the ones who love to interact and teach young students and have to go through Boswin summer training course to be qualified to teach in Boswin summer camp.
All the coaches running summer camps in Varsity are experienced professional coaches.
