Advanced Robotics & Coding Program for Kids in Mississauga

Junior Robotics III & IV (Ages 10-14)

Junior Robotics III & IV Program Overview

Boswin Robotics’ Junior Robotics III & IV programs are tailored for students aged 10–14 in Mississauga and the Peel Region. These advanced robotics classes continue to simulate the engineering design process while preparing students for real-world robotics competitions across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). With hands-on, challenge-based projects, students develop deeper skills in programming, STEM concepts, teamwork, and innovation—all while building competitive robotics solutions.

What Kids Will Learn in the Program

In Junior Robotics III & IV, students dive into complex robotics challenges involving real-world engineering principles, environmental science, renewable energy, and digital communication. Each project begins with a challenge brief and culminates in a team-based solution or final project ready to be showcased.

  • Apply the Engineering Design Process: Students will master advanced strategies to design, test, and refine their robotics projects on the world renowned LEGO SPIKE PRIME and VEX Robotics platforms. This structured approach mirrors how real engineers tackle complex problems and innovate to create better solution.
  • Build & Program for Competition: Learners will create robots tailored for local GTA competitions using motors, sensors, and intelligent Python coding. They’ll also develop time-based strategies to complete mission challenges efficiently.
  • Students are familiarized with the advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning by recognizing sensor data, finding patterns and devise course of actions by robots using AI tools. Training AI web based tools and testing on robots.
  • Explore Real-World Tech Concepts: The program enhance students learning to core STEM topics like pneumatics, renewable energy, and data logging. These hands-on experiences bridge the gap between science theory and application.
  • Develop Critical Thinking Skills: Through team challenges and iterative builds, students will learn to troubleshoot, adapt, and problem-solve in real time. This cultivates resilience and innovation.
  • Class teams will be provided an opportunity to participate in a In-house League Competition with our competitive teams

Program Benefits

Our Junior Robotics III & IV program goes beyond robotics and coding—it’s designed to prepare students for the challenges of the future by cultivating independence, initiative, and innovation in a high-tech world.

  • Future-Ready Skill Development: Students gain confidence using real-world technologies and tools, building habits of curiosity, resilience, and lifelong learning essential for STEM success.
  • Increased Academic Confidence: By applying classroom concepts to hands-on projects, learners build deeper understanding and engagement with science, technology, and math.
  • Real-World Presentation Experience: Final projects are showcased in team presentations, helping students refine public speaking skills and effectively communicate technical ideas.
