Boswin Covid-19 Policy
Health & Safety Protocols for Programs and Camps
At Boswin Robotics, the health and safety of our students, staff, and families are a top priority. We continue to follow public health guidance and have established the following protocols to reduce the risk of illness during our programs and camps.
COVID-19 Protocols
To maintain a safe learning environment, Boswin Robotics will:
- Strongly recommend that students wear masks while indoors
- Encourage regular handwashing and proper respiratory etiquette (e.g., coughing or sneezing into sleeves)
- Display signs throughout the facility promoting self-screening and hand hygiene
- Schedule hygiene breaks for students to wash their hands
- Provide hand sanitizer at key areas throughout the facility
If a Student or Staff Member Becomes Ill
If someone shows symptoms of illness during the program:
- They will be separated from the group and moved to a designated area
- Parents or guardians will be contacted to arrange immediate pickup
- A medical mask will be provided to the individual who is ill
- The individual will be supervised in accordance with standard school policies
- Physical distancing will be encouraged while the individual waits to go home
Attendance and Illness Policy
- Students who are unwell or test positive for COVID-19 must remain at home and will not be permitted to attend the program
- If a student provides a doctor’s note or a positive test result, they may reschedule their program to a later available summer session
- If a student becomes ill during the program day, parents will be contacted for pickup. The child must go home and should not take public transportation
Families are encouraged to have a backup pickup plan in place before the program begins.
By working together, we can help create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for every participant at Boswin Robotics.
