Program Structure for the Primary Coding & Sports Camp

Half-Day of Beginner Coding Exploration

Campers dive into the world of technology with hands-on digital projects designed to teach the fundamentals of coding in a playful, supportive environment.

  • Build & Animate: Create simple games, animations, and digital stories using block-based coding tools like Scratch or similar platforms
  • Interactive Learning: Use drag-and-drop programming to design characters, add music and sound effects, and build interactive scenes
  • Core Concepts Introduced: Campers explore sequencing & loops, events & conditions, variables and logical flow, and debugging strategies to improve their projects

Half-Day of Sports & Active Games

To balance screen time and mental effort, the other half of each day features fast-paced physical activity and cooperative games.

Primary Coding Camp Details


Locations:

  • Western Mississauga
  • 2210 Dunwin Dr., Unit #1, Mississauga, ON, L5L 1C7
  • Program runs from June 29th – August 28th
  • Central Mississauga
  • St. Hilary Elementary School 5070 Fairwind Dr., Mississauga
  • Program runs from July 2nd – August 14th

Program Time:

  • Regular Program Hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Extended Hours: 7:30 am – 9:00 am and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Our Instructors:

  • Boswin’s coding coaches are trained educators and tech-savvy mentors. Every instructor completes the Boswin Summer Training Program to deliver a safe, structured, and inspiring learning experience.

  • Personal device for coding such as laptop, tablet, Chromebook, MacBook, or iPad
  • Comfortable shoes for active play

  • Total Cost: $255 per week (plus tax)
