What Kids Will Learn in Primary Robotics I & II

Primary Robotics I – Simple and Motorized Machines

  • Simple machines such as gears, pulleys, levers, inclined planes, wheels, and axles.
  • Creative challenges like building a top spinner and experimenting with gear ratios.
  • How everyday mechanisms function through hands-on robotics learning.
  • Teamwork and public speaking skills through class presentations and group activities.

This course builds a strong foundation in robotics and AI for elementary students, reinforcing STEAM learning through hands-on LEGO play, structured challenges, and fun simulations of smart behavior using patterned data.

Primary Robotics II – Advanced Machines, Robotics and Coding

  • Construct compound machines like cranes, clocks, or jack-in-the-box mechanisms
  • Use multiple gears, pulleys, and levers to solve real-world design problems.
  • Incorporate battery-powered motors and robots to enhance builds, code to complete task
  • Strengthen critical thinking and coding with robotics in a collaborative environment.

This course develops advanced coding, robotics, and AI skills, using patterned data to simulate smart behavior, while fostering problem-solving, collaboration, and creative model-building for students ready for the next level of STEM learning.
