JK-SK Builders (Age 4 & 5)

The Kindergarten Builders’ Program is designed to foster creativity, motor skills development, and teamwork among young children through structured LEGO building activities. LEGO, renowned for its educational benefits, provides an engaging platform where children can learn through play in a safe and stimulating environment.

Program Goals:

  • Creativity: Encourage children to unleash their imagination and create unique structures using LEGO bricks.
  • Motor Skills Development: Enhance fine motor skills through the manipulation of LEGO pieces, promoting hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Problem-Solving: Engage children in challenges that require logical thinking and spatial reasoning to solve.
  • Teamwork: Foster collaboration and communication skills as children work together on group projects.
  • Fun and Enjoyment: Ensure a positive and enjoyable learning experience that ignites a passion for learning through play.

Benefits of LEGO Play:

  • Educational: Supports STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through hands-on experimentation and problem-solving.
  • Social Development: Encourages sharing, turn-taking, and respect for others’ ideas during collaborative projects.
  • Emotional Development: Builds resilience and persistence as children learn to overcome challenges and setbacks in their building endeavours.
