This is partnership program of Boswin and Varsity Hockey, the GTA’s best training center for hockey players of all ages.
Through combination of both elite organizations in GTA, we believe that we will provide students the best way to enjoy both robotics and hockey training in summer time.
The camp structure is as follows:
Half-day MinecraftEdu
New Way of Playing and New Way of Learning!!!
MinecraftEdu is a school-ready remix of the original smash hit game Minecraft, played by over 30 million people worldwide. Created by teachers for classroom use and officially supported by Mojang, the company behind Minecraft, MinecraftEdu contains a set of powerful yet simple tools to fine-tune the Minecraft experience for learning. Teachers in over 40 countries use MinecraftEdu in every subject area from STEM to Language, to History, to Art.
After working with lots of schools and teachers, Boswin is very excited to announce that Boswin is officially launching its first pilot MinecraftEdu program.
The goals of the program are as follows:
- Guide students to Play and Learn in a FUN way
- Engage students to learn different subjects by creating and building their own Minecraft world;
- Learn etiquette in video game world
- Play and learn Respect, Discipline and Teamwork in Minecraft World
Students must have their own Laptops in order to enroll in the program.
Half-day hockey
Each day students will be on the ice 1.5 hours and will have a 1 hour recreational session. 
The focus of the on-ice program is on individual skill development. students will work on Power Skating, Edges, tight turns and crossovers, backward and forward skating, pivots and transitions. Puck skills will include shooting, stick-handling and deking, speed with the puck, and passing.
The off-ice program each day will include either a Dry Land Training Activity or a Recreational activity. Recreational Activities may include dodge ball, soccer and much more.
All students will need full hockey equipment, gym attire, and a bag lunch. Varsity will provide a pizza lunch on the final day of the camp.
Instructors & Coaches
All Boswin instructors are not only the specialists in each area they teach, but also they are the ones who love to interact and teach young students and have to go through Boswin summer training course to be qualified to teach in Boswin summer camp.
All the coaches running summer camps in Varsity are experienced professional coaches.
